The 1991 Slam Dunkin’ Don is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys during the height of the original TMNT toy line. Donatello is dressed as a basketball player, wearing a red jersey with the number 23, high-top sneakers, a matching headband, and sports goggles, reflecting the basketball culture of the early 1990s.
The Slam Dunkin’ Don features a spring-powered shooting arm that launches the included turtle-patterned basketball toward the Garbage Can Rim hoop. The original figure was produced with a red jersey, while a rare white-jersey Walmart variant is highly sought after by collectors. Its basketball theme, action feature, and production variant make this 1991 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive vintage collectible.
