The 1990 Technodrome Playset is a massive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles playset released by Playmates Toys, based on the iconic fortress of Krang and Shredder from the 1987 animated series. The spherical fortress features tractor treads, an Eye-Spy radar, rock blasters, dome lasers, and multiple exterior battle stations.
The Technodrome opens to reveal Shredder’s Command Center, Krang’s Throne Room, Mutation Chamber, mutant jail, trap door, and Brain Scrambler. It can also connect to the Sewer Lair Playset with ramps, while its numerous small accessories make a complete 1990 Playmates TMNT Technodrome highly desirable among vintage collectors.
