The 1990 Killer Bee is a giant Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy from Playmates Toys' Mega Mutants line, with distribution continuing into 1991. Based on the cardback lore, Killer Bee is a giant mutant flying mount created by Krang in Dimension X. The oversized insect features six movable blue legs, transparent veined wings, a large stinger, and a rear seat for a standard TMNT action figure.
Killer Bee includes an assortment of criminal-themed accessories, including a Chunky Chainsaw, Sawed-off Shotgun, Ball and Chain, Handcuffs, Attack Antenna, Criminal Cap, and Pollinator Pistol. Released alongside the heroic Needlenose, the 1990 Killer Bee is a distinctive vintage TMNT Mega Mutant and an unusual collectible from the classic Playmates toy line.
