The 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Needlenose toy was released by Playmates Toys as part of the Mega Mutants subgroup. This large-scale vintage TMNT vehicle and action figure hybrid combines a mutant mosquito with a jet fighter, creating a flying ally and battle mount for the Ninja Turtles. Needlenose features six poseable legs and arms, two movable insect wings, and a Tongue Seat where a standard Turtle figure can sit and pilot the mutant flyer.
The Needlenose toy is equipped with a Gatling Gun, Mega Machine Gun, rotating Tail Gun, and Plasma-Powered Rocket Engine, along with two detachable neon-orange Bee-Seeking Missiles. Created by Krang in Dimension X before being trained by Donatello to fight alongside the Turtles, this 1990 vintage TMNT collectible is a distinctive release from the classic Playmates Toys Mega Mutants line.
