Centurions Doom Drone Strafer (1986)

Doom Drone Strafer is a robotic soldier created by Doc Terror in the classic Centurions animated series and toy line. As one of the primary machines used by the villainous forces, the Doom Drone Strafer serves as a versatile support unit in Doc Terror's battle against the heroic Centurions.

The Doom Drone Strafer can combine with Doc Terror, Hacker, and the Doom Drone Traumatizer to create a larger flying assault configuration, a combination frequently used by Doc Terror and Hacker throughout the animated series. In Latin American versions of the cartoon, the Strafers were known as "Destructores" (Destroyers).

A larger Super Strafer variant appeared in the episode "Man or Machine Part IV," created by Gog. The Doom Drone Strafer's original working name during development was Sidewinder.

Today, the Doom Drone Strafer remains a collectible piece of the Centurions toy line, popular among Kenner collectors, 1980s action figure enthusiasts, and fans of the original animated series.
