The 1993 Night Ninja Rocksteady is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the Auto Mutations subline. This transforming figure uses a mechanical gimmick that allows Rocksteady to change from his standard rhino mutant appearance into an armored Night Ninja by squeezing his legs or activating the figure's transformation mechanism. His dark ninja-inspired armor gives the classic Foot Clan villain a distinctive stealth-themed design.
The Night Ninja Rocksteady TMNT figure includes Mutatin' Bracers that reveal claws, a Dusk Dagger, and a Turtle Carver Knife. The blue Turtle Carver Knife is a recolored version of the weapon originally included with the 1988 Foot Soldier. With its transforming action feature, armored design, and unusual accessory history, the 1993 Night Ninja Rocksteady is a distinctive vintage TMNT collectible from Playmates Toys.
