The 1993 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night Ninja Leo action figure was released by Playmates Toys as part of the Auto Mutations subline. This vintage TMNT Leonardo figure features a mechanical instant-transformation gimmick that activates when his legs are squeezed, using internal springs to deploy a Night Ninja hood, concealed side foot razors, and shin guards. The figure has a distinctive black-and-blue color scheme and articulated arms and wrists.
The Night Ninja Leo comes with a Mutatin' Tonfa that transforms from a martial arts baton into two katanas, along with a Grapplin' Hook and Ooze Canister. Combining its spring-loaded transformation feature with specialized ninja weapons, this 1993 vintage TMNT collectible is a distinctive release from the classic Playmates Toys Auto Mutations series.
