Rock ’N Roll Mondo Gecko is a vintage TMNT action figure released by Playmates Toys in 1992 as a Basic Figure celebrating the franchise’s 5th anniversary. This version reimagines Mondo Gecko from his original skater persona as a laid-back, peace-loving heavy-metal guitarist. His card-back bio describes him as a groovy guitarist who prefers playing music to fighting, with the motto “Peace or Die.”
The 1992 Rock ’N Roll Mondo Gecko vintage TMNT figure stands approximately 4.5 inches tall and comes with several music and skateboarding-themed accessories, including a Heavy-Duty Battle Bass Guitar, Beatnik Brick Pizza Protest Sign, and Skateboard. The unusual rock-and-roll theme and character-specific accessories make this anniversary-era Mondo Gecko a distinctive collectible from the original vintage TMNT toyline.
