The 1991 King Lionheart is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys in 1991/1992. This mutant lion ally was originally a Shakespearean actor before Shredder mutated him and planned to use him as the leader of the Foot Clan's mutant army. Rescued by the Turtles, King Lionheart becomes their loyal ally and ruler of righteousness.
The figure features a distinctive royal robe with detailed painted and molded elements, along with the Slap 'Em Silly Sceptre and Extra-Cool Excalibur sword. With its unique lion design, royal accessories, and character lore, the King Lionheart TMNT figure is a distinctive vintage collectible from the classic Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line.
