The 1991 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Wyrm from Playmates features a bizarre gross-out design with blue skin, a torn green sanitation jumpsuit, worm-like fingers, and an octopus tentacle leg. Pressing his hair or cap triggers an eye-popping action feature that opens his mouth and pushes his bug eyes forward. Accessories include Munchy Mouth Worms, Trash Compactor Mallet, Worm Knife/Sai, Pipe Wrench, and Worm Belt.
Wyrm is one of the most unusual mutant characters from the vintage TMNT toy line, based on a trashman mutated by Shredder’s ooze. His asymmetric sculpt, interactive action feature, and numerous small accessories make complete 1991 Wyrm figures particularly desirable to vintage TMNT collectors.
