The 1991 Space Usagi is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the original TMNT basic figure line. Billed as the “Retro-Rocketing Rabbit,” this 4.5-inch figure portrays a futuristic descendant of the samurai rabbit Miyamoto Usagi, reimagined as a galactic hero battling cosmic criminals.
The Space Usagi figure includes a Carrot Cannon, Celery Silencer, removable Space Helmet, and fabric Cape. Although the character was featured alongside Space Cadet Raphael in the toyline’s story, Space Usagi did not appear with the Turtles in the standard TMNT comics or television series. His unique space-themed design and accessories make this 1991 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive vintage collectible.
