Don’s Telephone Line Rider Backpack is a 1991 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vehicle accessory released by Playmates. Designed for Donatello, the wind-up Wacky Wire Transport lets him ride along a 24-inch communication cable using a garbage-powered line rider, garbage-can guidance system, telephone pole balance brace, safety strap, and Turtle Talk Sai Phone.
The unusual zip-line-style play feature makes Don’s Telephone Line Rider Backpack one of the more inventive accessories from the 1991 TMNT lineup. Its working mechanism, communication cable, and distinctive garbage-themed design make it a memorable vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collectible for fans of Playmates’ original toy line.
