The 1990 Slash is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the original TMNT toy line. Known as the “Evil Turtle from Dimension X,” Slash features a heavily spiked shell, purple armor pads, jagged molded weapons, and a detailed Twisted Turtle Belt. His unusual sculpt includes wooden shoulder armor, battle-worn details, and a distinctive oversized eye.
The 1990 Slash includes a Psycho Sai, Nasty Nunchukus, Mutant Mace, and Razor-Spiked Gnarly Knife. Several factory paint variants exist, including the common mustard-yellow belly with black belt, bright-yellow belly with purple belt, and the particularly sought-after yellow-belly with black-belt variant. These color variations, along with Slash’s detailed sculpt and colorful weapons, make this 1990 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive vintage collectible.
