The 1990 Panda Khan is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the Basic Assortment Wave 3 from the original TMNT toy line. Panda Khan is a samurai warrior and ruler of a genetically altered tribe of battlin' bears from the future who travels through time and eventually allies with the Turtles. The figure features a white panda head, red mask, bright blue samurai armor, gold chain-mail detailing, green pants, and red gauntlets and shin guards.
The Panda Khan TMNT figure includes four weapons: Dragon's Claw Sword, Battle Axe, Gou Hook, and Fusion Blaster. Based on the character from his own comic-book universe, Panda Khan became a notable TMNT crossover character despite never appearing in the original 1987 animated series. With its detailed samurai design, unusual panda character, and unique weapon assortment, the 1990 Panda Khan is a distinctive vintage Playmates TMNT collectible.
