The 1989 Pizza Thrower, also known as the Pizza Shooter, is a vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vehicle released by Playmates Toys as part of the original TMNT toy line. Designed as a pizza oven on wheels, this battery-powered vehicle uses a motorized rotating turret to launch plastic pizza discs at the Foot Clan. The turret rotates and adjusts its firing angle, while the cockpit includes a seat, handlebars, and foot pedals for a standard TMNT action figure.
The Pizza Thrower TMNT vehicle originally includes 12 plastic pizza discs with humorous toppings, along with its built-in pizza-launching mechanism and rotating turret. Its distinctive pizza-themed design, motorized action feature, and classic 1989 Playmates styling make the 1989 Pizza Thrower one of the most recognizable vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collectibles from the original toy line.
