The 1988 Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Basic Series Raphael is a 4.5-inch vintage TMNT action figure from the original toy line launched alongside the classic animated series. Raphael features his signature red mask and detachable brown weapons belt, capturing the iconic design of the original 1988 Playmates TMNT figures.
The 1988 TMNT Raphael figure came with two Sai, two Ninja Stars, and two Fist Daggers, along with a plastic weapons rack. Early releases featured a soft rubber head, while later versions used a hard plastic head, making the soft-head Raphael a notable variation for vintage TMNT collectors.
