Donatello is a 1988 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates as part of the original TMNT basic assortment. The classic purple-masked Turtle comes with his signature Bo Staff, Turtle Fist Daggers, Ninja Stars, Kama, and Weapon Rack, giving the figure a recognizable collection of ninja weapons.
As one of the original four Turtles introduced by Playmates, this Donatello figure helped establish the look and style of the vintage TMNT toy line. Early releases are found in both soft-head and hard-head versions, adding an interesting production detail for collectors of the original 1988 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures.
