The 1982 Tristar International MASH Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan action figure was released as Style No. 4103 in Tristar’s licensed MASH 4077th toy line. Standing 3.75 inches tall in 1:18 scale, the figure features 10 points of articulation connected by an internal elastic system and depicts Hot Lips in her army-green military fatigues. She was the only female character in Tristar’s eight-figure 1982 MASH action figure series.
The Tristar Hot Lips Houlihan figure was originally sold on a themed blister card featuring a character photo and unpunched peg hole. Like other vintage figures from the line, surviving carded examples can show age-related blister yellowing. Based on Loretta Swit’s television character, this 1982 MASH action figure is a distinctive collectible from Tristar’s short-lived MASH toy line.
