First Aid is a 1986 Transformers G1 Protectobot that transforms into a Datsun Vanette C120 ambulance. He comes with a photon pistol for robot mode and a larger decrystallizer cannon that mounts to the rear of the ambulance using a connector piece. As a Scramble City-style combiner, First Aid can form a limb for compatible combiners and is specifically intended to serve as one of Defensor’s arms.

For collectors, First Aid is notable for several vintage G1 production variations. Early releases feature a painted die-cast metal chest, while later versions replaced it with red plastic. Initial 1986 releases also included reflective iron-on promotional patches, followed by versions without the patches and 1987 releases that included a randomly packed Autobot Decoy. These variations make First Aid an interesting figure for collectors seeking specific vintage G1 releases.
