Wheeled Warriors Terror Tank (1985)

The 1985 Mattel Terror Tank is a menacing Monster Minds vehicle from the Wheeled Warriors toy line, officially designated as the “Battering Ram.” Built for heavy front-line combat, this dark biomechanical war machine features a molded green Monster Mind brain slug instead of a conventional human pilot, reinforcing its living, mutant-vehicle design.

Its signature feature is the massive gold vacuum-metalized Cruncher Wheel, a spiked crushing wheel mounted to a bright green organic vine arm at the front. The black chassis features asymmetrical vine-like detailing and heavy armor styling, while additional weapons include the copper Double Stinger, dark-gray Gassin’ Gun, and black Radaro tracking dish. Six interchangeable wheels complete its heavy-duty rolling chassis.

A complete Terror Tank includes the black vehicle body, integrated green pilot brain, rolling chassis, green vine arm, gold Cruncher Wheel, three additional weapons, and six specialized tires: Terror Treads, Road Biters, and Lightning Chasers. Collectors should check the gold chrome for wear and the softer green vine arm for cracks or warping.
