Wheeled Warriors KO Kruiser (1985)

The 1985 Mattel K.O. Kruiser is a mid-sized frontline vehicle from the villainous Monster Minds faction in Wheeled Warriors. Marketed as the faction’s “Demolition Expert,” the vehicle combines a weaponized pickup-truck design with the organic, mutated plant aesthetic that defines the Monster Minds.

Its signature feature is the long green Hammerball or Club Arm, an organic vine extension ending in a large textured wrecking ball that can be manually swung to attack opposing vehicles. The dark blue-green truck body features root-like detailing, an aggressive face-like grille with slanted “eyes,” and a toothy front opening. Additional weapons include a gold rocket, bronze laser gun, tan gun, gray blaster/rotator gun, and League Seeker radar attachment.

The complete KO Cruiser includes its blue truck chassis, Hammerball vine, modular weapons, League Seeker, black four-point axle assembly, and six chrome wheels in three styles: Gizmo Grinders, Slats, and Road Biters. A small green or pink Monster Mind Brain serves as the pilot. Its distinctive wrecking-ball weapon, expressive monster styling, and extensive collection of loose accessories make the KO Cruiser a notable vintage Mattel Wheeled Warriors collectible.
