Finback is a 1988 Transformers G1 Pretender who transforms into a stingray-shaped Cybertronian high-speed hovercraft. His inner robot features a large metal-corroding stun rifle that can mount on top of the vehicle mode, while the included harpoon gun provides additional weapon options.
The Finback Pretender shell takes the form of a bizarre aquatic monster with fish- and reptile-like features, a clawed arm, and a flipper-style blade. The shell can hold both of Finback’s weapons, adding play value and display options. Finback was released in the United States and Europe, but no version of the character or toy was released in Japan.
