Wheeled Warriors Armed Force (1985)

The 1985 Mattel Armed Force is the flagship heroic vehicle of the Lightning League in Wheeled Warriors. This futuristic white armored vehicle features a smoked canopy and was built around the toy line’s signature modular design, allowing kids to customize it with weapons and components from other vehicles.

Its standout feature is the stacking chassis, a four-point frame with upper connector ports that can support another full-sized Wheeled Warriors vehicle. Multiple sockets across the hood, body, and rear provide additional mounting points for its extensive arsenal, including the gold Crusher Claw, Mind Messer gun, gold Tri-Gun, blue Mega Rocket/Bomb, black gun, and dark-gray laser.

The Armed Force also included a 3.75-inch blonde-haired driver figure, six modular wheels, and its four-point drive frame. Because the weapons and accessories detach easily, complete examples are increasingly difficult to find. Its unique stacking capability, extensive weapon loadout, and status as the Lightning League’s flagship vehicle make the Armed Force a standout collectible from the Mattel Wheeled Warriors line.
