Fangry is a 1988 G1 Headmaster that transforms into a distinctive cyborg-like bat-winged wolf monster with a reptilian tail. The figure comes with the Nebulan Headmaster Brisko, an ion pulse gun, and detachable wings that can also serve as a shield. In beast mode, Fangry's torso opens to store Brisko, while inserting the Headmaster into the neck forms his robot-mode head and activates a Tech-Spec meter.

For collectors, Fangry is notable for his unusual character design and distinctive Headmaster gimmick. The figure has a slight permanent lean in robot mode due to its leg construction, and the wings can mount to his forearms using 5mm ports. The mold was also released in Japan as Wilder for Super-God Masterforce without changes.
