Divebomb is a 1986 G1 Predacon who transforms into a robotic eagle and serves as the left arm of the mighty Predaking. His two particle-beam rifles attach directly to his wings, while his laser-guided sword and detachable wing-pack add to his distinctive weapon loadout. The wing-pack also becomes Predaking’s backpack, although its connection is notoriously loose.
For vintage Transformers collectors, early Divebomb figures are especially desirable because they feature die-cast metal in the waist assembly, while later releases replaced those parts with plastic. Some U.S. releases also included one of four pieces of a glow-in-the-dark Transformers: The Movie poster, adding another collectible variation to this classic Predacon.
