Silverhawks Sky-Runner (1987)

Sky Runner is a vintage SilverHawks vehicle released by Kenner in 1988 as part of the Series Two toy line. Alongside the Sprinthawk, it was one of the second wave of vehicles produced for the SilverHawks collection. A planned third vehicle, the Copper Racer, was advertised but never released.

The Sky Runner is the only released vehicle in the Kenner SilverHawks line designed for the villainous Mob, making it a unique counterpart to the heroic SilverHawks vehicles. Measuring approximately 17 inches long, the ship features a handheld grip for flying play, a button-activated firing missile, and signature front-mounted capture tentacles that can grab SilverHawks figures and lock into place.

Today, the SilverHawks Sky Runner is considered a difficult-to-find vintage collectible and is highly sought after by Kenner toy collectors, SilverHawks fans, and 1980s action figure enthusiasts, especially complete examples with the missile, tentacles, and original packaging.
