Silverhawks Steelheart With Rayzor (1987)

Steelheart with Rayzor is a vintage SilverHawks action figure released by Kenner in 1987, based on the female warrior from the classic animated series. The figure includes Steelheart and her companion weapon bird Rayzor. Notably, Rayzor is not Steelheart's primary weapon bird from the series, as her signature companion is Stronghold.

Steelheart features the classic SilverHawks action mechanism, with arms that activate by lowering them to the sides and squeezing the knees together. Rayzor attaches to either wrist and transforms into a tomahawk-style weapon by pulling the bird's head outward, causing the wings to rotate backward. The bird's neck fits into Steelheart's hand for battle play, and the wings reset by pushing them forward.

The figure was released in several international versions. The standard U.S. release includes Wave 1 and Wave 2 card variants with different logo angles and package text designs. Additional releases include Kenner Canada, Kenner UK, Korea Robocom South Korea import, and Antex Argentina editions. The Argentine version features a lighter silver-blue suit, lighter skin tone, and painted red lips.

Today, Steelheart with Rayzor is a desirable SilverHawks collectible among Kenner toy collectors, fans of 1980s action figures, and vintage animation enthusiasts, especially when complete with the original Rayzor accessory and packaging.
