Shogun Warriors Battle Clasher (1978)

Shogun Warrior U-Combine Battle Clasher is Vehicle No. 2 in the five-piece Combatra (Combattler V) Vehicle Set, forming the robot's chest and arms when combined with the other vehicles. Packaged in a small window box with a styrofoam insert, it features a red and white tail section, folding metal landing gear, interchangeable fists, including a chrome drill fist, blue claw, and open hand, and the number "2" printed on the nose. Unlike the anime, this version does not fire missiles. The Mattel Shogun Warriors release uses cross-profile fist sockets, making the fists interchangeable, while earlier Popy versions feature flat-blade sockets that are not compatible. Complete, boxed examples are highly desirable among vintage Shogun Warriors and Combattler V collectors.
