Shogun Warriors Kargosaur (1978)

Shogun Warriors Kargosaur is one of the rarest and most sought-after vehicles in the vintage Shogun Warriors line. Based on the giant space dragon from Daiku Maryu Gaiking, Kargosaur is the spaceship form created when Gaiking’s skull-like head transforms into the ship’s command section.

The ST version features die-cast metal parts, a poseable head and neck, rocket launchers, and a storage compartment containing miniature Nessars, Bazolers, and Skylers from the Gaiking universe. Unlike the larger DX Popy version, the ST release does not have a fully removable transforming head feature.

With its unique connection to Gaiking, rare availability, and impressive space-dragon design, Shogun Warriors Kargosaur is a highly prized collectible among Shogun Warriors, Daiku Maryu, and vintage Japanese robot toy collectors.
