Shogun Warriors Combatra (1978)

Shogun Warriors Combatra (Combattler V) is a 3½-inch Collector's Shogun Warriors figure based on the Japanese super robot Chōdenji Robo Combattler V. Featuring a red and blue painted die-cast metal torso with plastic arms, legs, and head, Combatra is easily identified by its large bowl-shaped ears and antennae, which are often missing on loose examples. The "V" on its forehead can cause confusion with Voltes V, but the head design is the key identifier.

Combatra Release Variations

• Mattel U.S. Release: Packaged in a small hanging box with a top-fold design as part of the 3-inch Collector's Shogun Warriors line.
• Mattel European Release: Released in both skinny and wide box packaging variations.
• Bandai GoDaiKin Release: Includes additional stickers and was packaged on a carded backing.
• Bandai Combattler V Asian Release: Appeared in skinny box packaging with Kana markings and additional stickers similar to the GoDaiKin version.

Known as Combatra in the Shogun Warriors line and Combattler V in Japan, this miniature die-cast robot remains a popular collectible among Shogun Warriors, GoDaiKin, and vintage super robot collectors.
