Cindersaur is a 1988 Generation 1 Transformers Firecon that transforms from a robot into a bipedal, horn-nosed lizard monster. His beast mode features a rubber gear wheel on the belly; rolling the figure forward activates the Firecon sparking gimmick, sending “cold” sparks from his mouth. Like the other Firecon figures, Cindersaur also includes an unused rubsign indent despite rubsigns having been discontinued after 1987.
The Cindersaur toy mold was later reused for Sparkdash Guzzle in the Japanese Super-God Masterforce toyline. With its distinctive monster design and interactive sparking feature, Cindersaur remains a notable 1988 G1 Firecon figure for Transformers collectors.
