The 1986 LJN ThunderCats Mutant Fist Pounder is a large villain vehicle from the original ThunderCats toy line, designed as a powerful assault vehicle for the Evil Mutants. Featured in the animated television event ThunderCats HO! (1986), this battery-free Battle-Matic vehicle uses a wheel-driven mechanism to activate its oversized green fists, delivering an alternating pounding action as it rolls. Scaled to accommodate up to three action figures, it also features mechanical jaws and an elevated command tower.
The vintage Mutant Fist Pounder included several easily lost accessories: two giant green mechanical fists, a control unit, a removable red chair, a red vinyl seatbelt, a green ladder, and instructions. Its large size, unique mechanical action, and numerous small accessories make it a challenging find for 1980s ThunderCats toy collectors. Complete examples are particularly desirable, especially with the original seatbelt, ladder, and all mechanical parts intact.
