The 1986 LJN ThunderCats Mumm-Ra’s Tomb Fortress is a vintage ThunderCats action figure playset based on the tomb inside the Black Pyramid from the original 1980s animated series. The second-largest playset in LJN’s ThunderCats toy line, it features a skull-shaped Transformation Chamber that creates the illusion of Mumm-Ra transforming from his mummy form into his powerful sorcerer form. The giant skull’s eyes and teeth glow in the dark, while the included Minotaur and Reptile statues feature movable parts. No batteries are required.

Released in 1986 as part of Series 2, the Mumm-Ra’s Tomb Fortress playset includes an exclusive Mummy Mumm-Ra action figure, two Ancient Spirits of Evil statues, an instruction sheet, and a sticker sheet. Packaged in a large box, this iconic vintage LJN ThunderCats collectible recreates one of the cartoon’s most recognizable villain lairs and is especially desirable to collectors when complete with its original accessories.
