The 1986 LJN ThunderCats Snarf action figure was released in Series 2 as part of the vintage ThunderCats Companions toy line, based on the original 1980s animated series. Standing approximately 4 inches tall, Snarf features 6 points of articulation at the neck, shoulders, hips, and tail, allowing for multiple poses. Unlike the non-articulated PVC Snarf included with some LJN Lion-O figures, this version was designed for interactive play and display.
The vintage Snarf figure came on a smaller Companions backing card featuring a scenic mountain landscape and included a purple and black LJN mini catalog. Two known packaging variations exist: one displays Snarf facing forward, while the other positions the figure on its side. These details make the 1986 LJN Snarf collectible a distinctive addition to vintage ThunderCats action figure collections.
