Thundercats S-S-Slithe (1985)

The 1985 LJN ThunderCats S-S-Slithe action figure is a classic Series 1 Wave 1 vintage toy, depicting the reptilian leader of the Evil Mutants. Standing approximately 5 inches tall, Slithe features an asymmetrical face, bulging eye, distinctive sneer, and chunky reptilian build. His Battle-Matic action uses a back lever to activate a dual-arm slapping and clawing motion, making him a distinctive figure in the original LJN ThunderCats toy line.

The vintage S-S-Slithe figure has two collectible variations: the rarer soft-head version, with pinkish-brown eyes and brown markings, and the more common hard-head version, featuring white eyes, black pupils, and darker spots. Collectors should check the head material, paint condition, and functionality of the Battle-Matic mechanism, as intact examples with working action features are especially desirable.
