The 1985 LJN ThunderCats Panthro action figure features a muscular build, fierce open-mouthed expression, and signature blue uniform with spiked chest straps. This heavy-duty vintage ThunderCats figure includes red-and-blue nunchucks and LJN’s mechanical Battle-Matic arm-swinging action, activated by a lever on his back that moves his arms in alternating vertical strikes.
The 1985 Panthro figure is a favorite among vintage toy collectors for its detailed sculpt and distinctive accessories. Collectors look for original, unbroken nunchucks, including early keyhole-handle variations, and a working Battle-Matic mechanism. As the ThunderCats’ mechanic, Panthro also pairs naturally with the LJN Thundertank, making him an essential figure for a classic ThunderCats collection.
