Transformers Generation 1 Air Raid (1986)

The 1986 Transformers G1 Air Raid is an Autobot Aerialbot that transforms from a black F-15 Eagle fighter jet into a robot. As part of the Scramble City combiner system, Air Raid can function as either an arm or leg for compatible combiner leaders, with his standard position being Superion’s left leg. He is a key member of the classic Aerialbots and a popular vintage G1 Transformers figure.

Early 1986 releases of Air Raid were part of a promotional campaign that included reflective iron-on patches. Later releases removed the patches, while 1987 versions included a randomly packed Autobot Decoy mini-figure instead. These packaging variations are important details for collectors identifying different vintage G1 Air Raid releases.
