The Cylon Raider is a 1978–1979 Mattel Battlestar Galactica vehicle based on the iconic spacecraft of the Cylon Empire from the original television series. Known for its distinctive crescent-shaped design and unique markings, the Cylon Raider toy captures one of the most recognizable ships from the classic Battlestar Galactica franchise.
The vehicle features extendable wings that reveal hidden dual missile launchers, an opening cockpit, and a removable Cylon Pilot figure. Two versions were released: a firing version with red missile accessories and a later non-firing version with the missiles permanently attached due to updated toy safety standards. Both versions are considered moderately difficult to find, with the firing version being the more challenging release for Battlestar Galactica collectors, Cylon enthusiasts, and vintage Mattel toy collectors.
