The Colonial Stellar Probe is a 1978–1979 Mattel Battlestar Galactica vehicle released as part of the vintage action figure line. Like the Colonial Scarab, the Stellar Probe toy was an original design created for the toy line and did not appear in the television series. Featuring the signature Colonial blue and white color scheme inspired by the Colonial Viper, the vehicle was designed as a versatile spacecraft with three interchangeable configurations: Missile, Satellite, and Viper modes.

The set includes a removable Colonial Pilot figure, a satellite accessory, and three red missiles. Two versions were produced: a firing version with working missile launch features and a later non-firing version with the missiles permanently attached due to updated toy safety standards. Both versions are considered moderately difficult to find on the secondary market and remain desirable among Battlestar Galactica collectors, Mattel vintage toy enthusiasts, and fans of classic science fiction spacecraft.
