Battlestar Galactica Ovion (1978)

Ovion is a 1978 Mattel Battlestar Galactica action figure based on the insect-like alien species from the original television series. The Ovions were a four-armed race with large eyes that had been conquered and controlled by the Cylon Empire. The figure captures the creature’s distinctive appearance with a detailed sculpt, accurate proportions, and a well-executed paint application.

The Ovion toy includes a yellow lace cloak designed to resemble the worn clothing seen on the alien characters in the series.
