Battlestar Galactica Daggit (Brown) (1978)

Daggit is a 1978 Mattel Battlestar Galactica action figure based on the robotic canine companion from the original television series. In the show, Daggits were dog-like pets used by the Colonials, but after the Cylon War devastated their population, robotic replacements were created. The most famous example was Muffit, the robotic Daggit companion built for Boxey after the loss of his original pet.

The Daggit toy was released without accessories and came in two color variations: brown and tan, with both versions having similar collector value. Considered common and easy to find compared to other figures in the vintage Mattel Battlestar Galactica toy line, Daggit remains a popular collectible among Battlestar Galactica fans, vintage action figure collectors, and enthusiasts of classic science fiction memorabilia.
