Windsweeper is a 1988 Transformers G1 Triggercon that transforms into a modified B-1B Lancer bomber. The G1 Windsweeper toy features two permanently attached, spring-loaded chrome laser cannons that swing into firing position when their individual triggers are pressed. This built-in firing gimmick works in both jet and robot modes, with the cannons positioned beneath the wings in vehicle mode and beside the arms in robot mode.
The Transformers G1 Windsweeper was released during the fifth year of Hasbro's U.S. Transformers G1 toyline and the fourth year in Europe. As one of the 1988 Triggercon figures, Windsweeper was never released by Takara, making this vintage G1 Triggercon toy an interesting collectible for fans of 1988 Transformers toys, G1 Transformers, and classic Triggercons.
