Weirdwolf is a 1987 Transformers G1 Headmaster that transforms into a mostly yellow robotic wolf. The G1 Weirdwolf toy features hidden non-firing shoulder rockets, a clear red cockpit that stores his Headmaster partner Monzo, and a detachable wolf tail that becomes a Thermal Sword. Monzo forms Weirdwolf's robot-mode head and activates the chest-mounted Tech Spec ratings.
The Transformers G1 Weirdwolf includes a Photon Pistol, Thermal Sword, and Monzo Headmaster unit. Released during the fourth year of Hasbro's original Transformers toyline, the Japanese version was designated D-86, making Weirdwolf a notable vintage G1 Headmaster collectible.
