Venom is a 1985 Transformers G1 Deluxe Insecticon that transforms into a robotic cicada. The G1 Venom toy includes an Electric-Blaster Gun and Battle Axe, giving the figure its primary weapons in robot mode.
The Transformers G1 Venom uses the mold from the Japanese Beet-Zaguna toy from the Armored Insect Corps Beetras line, redesigned with a distinctive green-and-orange color scheme. This makes Venom a notable vintage G1 Deluxe Insecticon collectible.
