Twin Twist is a 1985 Transformers G1 Jumpstarter that transforms into a Cybertronic twin-drill tank using a simple one-step conversion. The G1 Twin Twist toy features a pull-back motor that propels the tank forward before releasing spring-loaded legs, flipping the figure into robot mode. He includes a Semi-Automatic Cannon-Rifle and a rear-head lever that adjusts the jumping action.
The Transformers G1 Twin Twist has a fragile transformation latch, so collectors should check that the small black chest pin remains intact. Mexican and European releases included an early version with a red-painted face instead of silver. The mold was later redecoed for Brazilian and Argentinian releases as Salt-Man Z, and later as Robot-Man Z for Generation 2.
