The 1988 Transformers G1 Bomb-Burst is a Decepticon Pretender from the first wave of Pretender toys. His inner robot transforms into a Cybertronian VTOL jet, with twin rifles that become wing-mounted weapons. The figure includes an armor-piercing battle axe, two wing/laser weapons, shoulder pads, and a belt for the Pretender shell.

Bomb-Burst’s standout feature is his highly distinctive vampiric bat-themed Pretender shell, complete with oversized ears, bat-winged shoulder armor, and a menacing humanoid design. His two rifles can combine into a Corrosive Slime Shooter for the shell, adding another play feature. The same G1 mold was released unchanged in Japan as Blood, making Bomb-Burst a memorable and visually unique 1988 Transformers Pretender.
