Trailbreaker is a 1984 Transformers G1 Autobot Car that transforms into a Toyota 4WD Hi-Lux N40 camper truck. The G1 Trailbreaker toy includes left and right fists, two Twin Blasters, two missiles, and a radar scanner. His robot-mode arms function as projectile launchers, while Hasbro weakened the firing springs for safety.
The Transformers G1 Trailbreaker received a rubsign in its 1985 reissue and Japanese release, with Takara retaining fully functional launchers. The mold originated from Diaclone, including the truck's opening pilot hatch, and was later retooled into Hoist, making Trailbreaker a notable vintage G1 Autobot Car collectible.
