Thrust is a 1985 Transformers G1 Decepticon Plane that transforms into an F-15 Eagle with new wings featuring ducted VTOL fans and redesigned rear stabilizers. The G1 Thrust toy is a retool of Starscream and includes two missile launchers, air-to-air missiles, fists, wings, tail fins, and landing gear, while retaining the original null-ray lasers and cluster bomb projectiles.
The Transformers G1 Thrust uses the same basic transformation as the original Decepticon jets, although its cartoon design leaves the head in a distinctive “conehead” configuration. Released in the US, Europe, and Japan, the mold later received a Joustra European version with a hard-plastic nosecone and unchromed black landing gear wheels, making Thrust a notable vintage G1 Decepticon Plane collectible.
