The 1987 Transformers G1 Blurr Targetmaster is a retooled version of the 1986 Blurr toy, updated to work with the Haywire Targetmaster weapon partner. The figure has widened fist holes to accommodate Haywire’s 5 mm handle, plus a new weapon-mount point on the torso. Blurr retains his blue Cybertronian hovercar mode and detachable vehicle nose, which doubles as a robot-mode shield.

The G1 Blurr Targetmaster also features updated paint and decal details, including the full pontoon decal design and darker aqua-blue accents on the vehicle and shield. This version replaced Blurr’s original pistol with Haywire’s Electro-Laser Cannon, making it a notable 1987 upgrade for collectors. Unlike most Autobot Targetmasters from the same year, the Blurr Targetmaster was not released in Japan.
