Superion is a 1986 Transformers G1 Aerialbot combiner formed from all five Aerialbots, with Silverbolt as the torso and the other four members as interchangeable limbs. The G1 Superion combination includes a helmet, fists, feet, chest and waist plates, Silverbolt's Electrostatic Discharger Rifle, and the individual Aerialbot weapons. His Scramble City-style design allows compatible combiner limbs to be swapped between arm and leg positions.
The Transformers G1 Superion inherits Silverbolt's thin legs and weak waist hinges, which can make the combined figure lean backward under the weight of its limbs. Superion was originally developed from an abandoned Diaclone Jizai Gattai concept and was released in 1986 as individual Aerialbots or a gift set. The Aerialbots were later reissued in Europe in 1990 and offered through a Japanese mail-order campaign in 1991, making Superion a notable vintage G1 Transformers combiner.
